Back in 1968, Bob and Jean Fessler began their nursery journey by growing azalea liners. While Wooburn Nursery has grown to offer a wide variety of nursery stock, we have continued to stay true to the plant that started it all. Our Dormant Ready to Force Azalea program offers some unique advantages to our customers. By shipping the plants in a dormant state without pots, we are able to ship significantly more plants per box. Dormant azalea customers tend to ship four to five weeks prior to their bloom/sell date, in order to allow enough time to force.
